Description: I have a 5.5 gallon (21L) glass aquarium. It has a hood which currently has a 15W incandescent light. The tank measures 16in. wide x 8in. deep x 10in. high. I have a 25W Visi-Therm stealth submersible heater. I use a Aqua-Clear 20 (formerly known as a mini) filter by Hagen which has adjustable flow levels. I used 10lbs. of plain riverbed gravel which I got from PetsMart. I also tossed in some larger (but still small) stones.
Advice: Do your research for everything before you buy anything. Don't assume that smaller=cheaper or easier.
Fish Kept: I currently have 4 neon tetras (Paracheirodon innesi) and a black mystery snail (Pomacea bridgesii).
Corals/Plants: Dwarf Anubias (Anubias nana) - live. Fake Ludwigia and Hygrophilia plants. Fake driftwood.
Tank Size: 5 gallons
