Description: New cichlid tank finished 2/15/16. Lighting - 48'' coralife quad HO T5 with 2 6,700k and 2 10,000k lights and 48'' Marineland Optibright LED Filtration - API "large" canister filter (350 GPH), Aqueon 75 (300 GPH), Marineland Penguin 350 w/Bio-wheel (350 GPH). Substrate - 120lbs Live sand Heater - 1 100w glass heater and 1 200w glass heater Other - 1 large powerhead for water circulation and 3 high output air pumps with air stones for H2O oxygenation.
Advice: Do your research but ultimately everyone will have a unique experience. I have mainly relied on trial and error. Yes, I have had failures and wasted resources/time but each failure is an opportunity for growth.
Corals/Plants: varius anubias and swords
Tank Size: 120 gallons
